I'M BACK AND ITS ALREADY 2013! So...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Time flies and its already 2013. :( I'm getting older and older and older. Moreover, school is starting TOMORROW. Grr.. I think I'm just gonna sleep in school tomorrow like what I did last year. Haha, so did you guys went countdown anywhere? Well, I countdown with my friends via twitter and plus I was in the bus with my family otw back home. So yeah. :)
As I said in the post before, I'm gonna blog about my trip. So basically I went to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Bangkok with the CHAN CLAN during the past few days. I had to wake up at 4 IN THE MORNING to prepare myself because the bus is gonna reach my house by 4:45A.M. Everyone knows that I'm not a morning person, I sleep and wake up late almost everyday. So, yeah, I only slept for and hour. :P I even heard that my uncle and aunts played mahjong till 3 A.M.

Later on, we arrived at Bangkok city first then transit to Chiang Mai airport. Stupid thing is, we need to wait at the airport in Bangkok for 3 hours for the flight. wtf. Transiting flights sucks. Especially when I'm so freaking sleepy. grr... I cannot tahan edi. I ended up sleeping on a bench like a boss with my cap closing my face and a blanket from Thai Airways. My mom even took a picture of me when I'm sleeping. lol.

After an hour, we finally reach Chiang Mai! *YAYYYY!!! After hours of sitting and waiting. The duration of waiting can even fly me to South Korea. Sitting and waiting is so boring. Plus, I didn't go ask for the 1 hour free wifi. Wtf. Stupid me. I only knew it when I get back from Bangkok. zz
Then we sat a couch to makan! Since everyone is hungry although there is food on the plane. Plane food kinda sucks. Like seriously leh, if you're eating rice, the amount or oil will be absorb by the rice. omg. But maybe some other airlines has better food. :O

Then, we go makan at a roadside stall.
I forgot what is this called. There're pork organs in there and keuy-tiao-that-has-been-smash-together. lol. I don't like this dish because I don't like eating organs and intestines. But my parents say its nice. Everyone has different opinions.
I LIKE THIS ONE. Its pronounce as Kao Soi. Its basically curry mee with a chicken drumstick. Instead of normal Bee Hoon Mee or Keuy Tiao Mee. They used those thick yellow noodles and fry it till crispy crispy. But not the whole bowl is those fried ones, there are also thick yellow noodles. ITS YUM!

With cousins and aunts. The camera man aka my uncle was fooling around. He was like taking picture like a paparazzi. Taking pictures from left then jump to the right then suddenly go close. LOL
Aw yeah! Love the sunlight. Its only like 11 there if I'm not mistaken. The weather there was quite cooling too!
After that, we went to a floral park or something like that. There're nice scenery there. Plus, they even built it according to the countries. Got Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, China etc etc. Its very nice if you cycle there. The cold breeze and the nice scenery. (Y) If I have a chance to jog there or cycle there, I'll do it every alternate day. But needa pay for entrance fee. :(
We sat a carrier or something I forgot what does it called to go around the place. It was huge! At first I thought we could just walk around the place but I was wrong. Thank god the weather was cooling. Or else I'll be a dried up barbecue human. omg

Later on, we went to dinner at some place. It was meh. It was supposed to be like makan sambil tengok performance. But when we finish eating then performance haven't even started. wtf. The food was also meh. But I guess normally those tour guides will bring the tourists there to makan one. For the food, they will serve in a small table and place it on the dining table as a set or something. I heard that the people in the Northern Part of Thailand like Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai prefers to eat sticky glutinous rice than normal white rice. mhmm... it taste.... sticky. lol
This is the place! We even need to take off our shoes before we go in.

This is sticky rice. Its serve in a tiny plastic bag. They also provide normal white rice if you don't wanna eat sticky rice.
The dishes. I had almost the same dishes for lunch and dinner during my trip at the Northern Part of Thailand. Especially the one below the cucumber and tomato dish. Those are fried pig skin. Crispy but fattening.
With the dancers. They're so pretty and skinny but I'm so.......... fat.
The tour guide told us that the Northern part of Thailand doesn't say savadekaap/savedeekap when they greet us. Instead, they'll say SAWADEECHAO. Mhmm... And he said that the women there are fairer because of the cooling weather.
Due to tiredness, the darkness in the restaurant and the music playing in there, we almost fell asleep in there. My cousin just lay down and slept like a boss. Therefore we did not wait for the performance and just proceed to the hotel to check in. The hotel was Centara Duangtawan Hotel. The hotel was meh, but the location was ok. In front of the hotel is the night bazaar. The best part is opposite out hotel was some high class 5 start hotel that I forgot the name. lol. wtf. I told my mom if the hotel not nice then we move to the opposite and stay one night.
But the hotel turns out... not bad la. Still can sleep and shower. The bathroom was very big and spacious. But still meh.

The night bazaar was just nearby. So we went there to jalan jalan. Seriously, there were alot of Western country people came here to travel around. There were many things selling there. But almost every store selling the same stuff. zz.
There are many stalls selling these shirts. I wanted to buy but meh. I didn't buy :(

Alright, I'm done for the first day. Yay! I need get some sleep because school is starting tomorrow. Sucks right? My new principal changed alot of things there, even the class names. wtf. Okay, Stay tune for more updates! :D
